September 6th task

For Task One I am thinking about writing about what becoming a single mom has taught me and what it has given me. I have a hard time seperating things into different paragraphs. I can talk forever about something but to organize it into different groups is a struggle for me. When I start to it doesnt take long for me to head in another direction. I guess the only question I have for it at the moment is if you have any suggestions on how to organize paragraphs as they are supposed to be.

My Letter of Introduction

My name is Courtney Richardson and I moved here to Saint Joseph MO a little over two years ago. I followed my now ex-husband to this area due to the fact that he got a full time position with the ANG here. We have two kids together and I was their caretaker. When I met my now ex husband I was in active duty AF. I decided to get out when I was pregnant with my firstborn. For two years I was a stay at home mom that only worked one weekend a month with the ANG. The divorce left me in a tough situation and I wasnt sure how I was going to make it on my own with two kids and no job! The base had a temporary full time position in my job that just happened to come up at the very time and my boss was kind enough to offer it to me. When that temporary job was almost over I decided it was a darn good time to get back into school to build a better and stronger future for my kids and I. The GI Bill benifits allow me to go to school full time and not have to worry about how I am gonna feed or clothe my two kids and the one I have on the way.

My expierience with writing has not been the best of my expieriences. To be honest the thought of writing a paper or essay scares the piss out of me. I dont have a strong understanding of how to properly write a paper or put things together for it to make any sense. I had to take summer school two years in a row in high school just to get through high school and even then I didnt understand much. The teachers didnt take much one on one time to help those who didnt fully understand the concept of writing. This class has me very nervous and I just pray that I can get through it with a passing grade.
